As a student of A Course in Miracles for over 20 years and a member of the Methodist Church for even longer, I've come to appreciate the two very different, and strikingly similar, spritual views found in ACIM and the Bible. Students of both books believe they contain the inspired words of Jesus of Nazareth, and in that I believe they are both correct. Where beliefs tend to diverge is in the finer details and varied interpretations which is common even among the myriad denominations that comprise Christianity.
While the main focus of commentary found within these pages is on the recorded words of Jesus Christ in both the Bible and ACIM--as they are the purest expression of his mission and intent--we also explore other topics outside the scope of those writings as they arise because the world is filled with a multitude of experiences that serve to inform our thoughts on faith and views on the meaning of life.
If you count yourself among the world's 2+ billion Christians, please know that you are welcome to this site, as are those from all religions and no religion. This site doesn't seek to convert, but rather to inform. If you read something you like, that's great. If you read something that you disagree with or even vehemently oppose, that's OK too. All that's asked is that we all try to respect the rights of others to hold differing views and to have the freedom to share those views without fear or intimidation.
At the end of the day, and the end of the world, we are all God's children. Let us all at least agree on that. mdb
